Road Tripping with Penny

Hi from South Carolina! I managed to wake up really early and drive straight through North Carolina today! The drive was very peaceful and relaxing, I’m not as nervous as when I first left Ocean City. I finished all the snacks that Grandma gave me so I looked up a good place to eat and found a pizza place near me. Oh my gosh, it was so good! Never thought pizza could be so cheesy and have the best crust ever. I had fun exploring the town I was in, I may have bought stuff to bring back to Grandma, shhh don’t tell her! I’ve entered two new states since my last post so I have two pictures to show you guys!

Hey guys! I just got settled in my hotel room for the night. I have stopped somewhere in the middle of Virginia. My Grandma was so nice and gave me money for places to stay. The drive was so pretty! I forgot how pretty the mountains and hills are, I've been at the beach way too long. Driving alone was not as bad as I thought it was going to be, plus the CD’s Grandma gave me were so good. I was jamming to music most of the time. I thought it would be cool to take pictures every time I enter a new state so here is the one from the Virginia border.  P.S. this was my first time pulling over on a major highway, it was kinda scary! 

I have packed the car and said my goodbyes to Mom and Grandma. I got sad driving away from my Grandma's, I really wish she could have come with me. To help me not feel so sad she gave me some snacks and old CD's that she used to listen to. I'm excited to hear some of them, currently filling my car up with gas. Just have to put the address my mom gave me on my phone and see which way it will take me. Looking forward to the pretty drive. I will update you guys when I stop for the night!

  Hi guys! I'm Penny, there's a small chance no one will ever see this but I thought it would be fun to document my trip. It's been a crazy couple of days, my mom told me the truth about who my dad is and where she thinks he might be. So I decided I want to meet him, I thought a road trip was a good idea because I need time to clear my head and think of what to say to him.  I'm leaving today after I say goodbye to my grandma. She has been a big help during this time, it been hard with my mom because I feel like I can't trust her at the moment. Anyways, Almost done packing and I'm about to load up the car! Here's a picture from my Grandma's back porch, she has such a nice view!
